Vendors are currently offering cool-weather vegetables, storage crops and late-season fruit typical for Louisiana’s fall growing cycle. This includes melons, winter squash, sweet potatoes, leafy greens, turnips, cabbage, pears and persimmons. Local honey, eggs and canned food products also are available. More greens and root vegetables are expected in the coming weeks.
