All prospective vendors must follow the application process for applying to become a vendor at the Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market (LFAM). Please read the Vendor Rules & Regulations for your category before contacting us, as most of your questions can be answered there.
We select vendors based on 3 criteria: product, process and professionalism.
Product: Are your products high-quality? Are they needed at the market? Is there a demand? Do we already have multiple similar products at the market? How are your products different?
Process: Do you grow your own product or make it yourself? The closer to our mission of hand-crafted, made from scratch or self-grown, the better.
Professionalism: Do you present products and self professionally? How does your table set-up look? Is your social media and marketing consistent and attractive? Will you and your product bring customers to the market, will you be noticed, will you represent the market well?
When entering your product and company descriptions, please do the best you can to answer the questions above. Include your social media links and attach a picture of your table set-up.
